Achromatic colour, hygroscopic property white pellet crystal or powder. Easy to dissolve in water , dissolve in glycerin , not dissolve in alcohol , aqueous liquor is neuter. Higher purity , granule exiguous thing is called sodium sulphate. Sodium sulfate may form seven water thing or ten water thing , seven water thing (Na2SO4.7H2O) is white askew square crystal. When heat to 24.4 centigrade become anhydrous thing. Sodium sulfate and carbon are deoxidized become sodium sulfide during the pyroreaction.
