2.Type of screen deck
There are four types of screen deck panels divided according to the combination mode with metal frame or size of rubber screen deck i.e. XH-I,XH-II,XH-III,XH-IV.
a.XH-I screen deck
XH-I screen deck panel is a suitable kind selected from a series of wear-resistant rubber according to the operating conditions of screening materials.
The XH-I screen decks are made by vulcanizing or binding rubber onto the steel back plate or adding steel wire into the rubber as the framework.
This kind of XH-I screen decks have such advantages as bearing heavy screening load, high screening efficiency, robust, saving maintenance cost and time.
There are three shapes of screen opening: round, square and oblong for XH-I heavy screen deck. Screen deck with round hole is made of
XHL rubber vulcanized or bond on the steel plate that works as framework and bears the impact of heavy materials. Both the rubber and steel plate are perforated. The rubber holes is smaller than steel plate holes and the upper holes should be smaller than the lower so that the materials can pass through them easily and aren’t easy to block up. Round hole is easily made and manufacture period is short and the diameter of the holes can change according to the requirement of the users.
The square and oblong holes are made by casting the rubber masterbatch vulcanized with steel cable with the mold. The steel cable functions as the framework, supports the impact of heavy materials and handy to fix with screen frame.
The upper opening is smaller than that underneath and this is easy for the materials to pass through and not easy to jam the screen opening.
b.XH-Ⅱ screen deck
XH-Ⅱ screen deck panels are made from special stretch impregnated fabric surfaced with rubber with resistance to wear which fine particles can easily pass through and weight is light.Its flexible nature of the panels makes them easy to pack, transport and fit.
The edge of the screen deck panel uses standard clamping bar and a support bar down the center of the screen is required. It is suitable for washing ore and screening fine-middle particles.
There are three shapes of screen holes: round, square and oblong hole for Flexdek screen deck.
c.XH-Ⅲ and XH-Ⅳ screen deck
The screen deck panels of type XH-Ⅲ and XH-Ⅳ can be made into small interchangeable square blocks and fixed with rubber fixing bolts.
The above screen decks give 10 to 20 times the life of metal decks.
