Steel Band Composite PE Spirally Corrugated Pipe
1. Underground sewage use steel tape reinforced polyethylene (PE) spirally corrugated pipe is spirally twined, extruded and compounded into a unity in the production lines, taking polyethylene as the outside basic material and high-performance adhesive resin coated corrugate steel tape that’s bended into the shape as the main structural support.
2. This kind of composite pipes combines the excellent advantages of high rigidity and strength of steel pipes and anticorrosion, anti-abrasion and flexibility of plastic pipes together. As a result, it not only reaches three ring stiffness grades SN8, SN12.5 and SN16, but also solves the problem of anticorrosion mentioned above. This makes up the shortage that large diameter plastic underground drainage pipes generally can only reach SN8 ring stiffness grade.
3. Hot melt welding, heat-shrinkable tubes(tapes) and electrofusion tapes are adopted to connect the pipelines. They can adapted themselves to different requirements of construction projects and working conditions, and realize reliable sealing and convenient installation. Such pipeline is the best and preferred product to substitute traditional large diameter drainage pipes at present.
